First ATTRACT project meeting in San Sebastian

SCALE Nanotech and Graphenea met last week in San Sebastian to discuss the progress and next steps for the GIMOD project.

Graphenea Semiconductor, the CVD branch from Graphenea, is a leading company based in San Sebastian and Boston, and key partner in ATTRACT’s GIMOD project. Their continuous effort on innovating the graphene transfer speeds up the progress necessary to release freestanding membranes with high yield.

This meeting closes a successful 2019, including SCALE Nanotech‘s first financed project, and sets the goals for 2020: to make a graphene display prototype that demonstrates the full potential of the GIMOD technology. Taking the chance, we also visited key players in the area, including the facilities from CIC nanoGUNE, a renamed research center and one of the MarĂa de Maeztu Units of Excellence. We thank their kind hosting and discussions, and look forward future collaborations.

SCALE Nanotech continues delivering and wishes a promising, fruitful and happy New Year!
